Supports telomere length and healthy aging. Telomere attrition is one of the hallmarks of aging. Telomeres are the protective caps of chromosomes and help protect them from degradation. Critically short telomeres have been associated with cellular senescence and other parts of the aging process. Cycloastragenol may help activate telomerase, the major enzyme responsible for maintaining telomere length.*
